Come volunteer and learn how to prune and propagate some drought-tolerant plants!
About this event
We will start our morning with a tour of the drought-tolerant garden followed by a tutorial on how to take cuttings and soil preparation. Participants will then learn the basics of plant propagation with a focus on California native shrubs that are also drought-tolerant. Participants can also take home some cuttings as well.
No experience is necessary, just a willingness to work with others while enjoying the outside! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on landscape experience while supporting a good cause.
