Spring is just around the corner and fruit trees are beginning to blossom all over the valley! Now is the time to prepare your home orchard for a productive fruiting season! Come join our Orchard Lead Don Bollinger on March 18th as he discusses what you can do now to successfully maintain your trees this Spring and Summer! Don will discuss setting up proper irrigation, when to fertilize, the importance of mulching and weeding, grafting, and fruit thinning to prepare your trees for their best harvest ever!

Cost: Free

Participants should wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing and a hat, as the class is held outside in our Pavilion. A refillable water bottle, notebook and writing implements are handy. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and sign in. Please note: the park charges $6.00 for parking, or park closer to our parcel on Chynoweth Avenue near Vauxhall Circle for free.
