Do you have deciduous fruit trees in need of pruning? Now that they are bare it’s the perfect time to prune (most of) them for better fruiting and easier picking this summer! Come out to the Master Gardener’s parcel at Martial Cottle Park and get all of your pruning questions answered by our Orchard Lead Don Bollinger! Don will discuss why we prune fruit trees, when to prune them, how and how much to prune them, and even which ones not to prune in winter! Afterwards, (weather permitting) Don will give a pruning demonstration in our Orchard.
