Join us at the Urban Forestry Education Center (at Martial Cottle Park) on Saturday, May 11th for an octopus agave transplanting workshop! Join is in transplanting the octopus agave (Agave vilmoriniana) bulbils from the flower stalk to 4 inch pots. Octopus agaves take as little as 5-6 years to mature and bloom. This is a rare opportunity as they only bloom once in their lifetime then they die.
