A bare root tree is a dormant tree delivered to the nursery with exposed roots and no soil. Help us prepare and pot this season's crop of 1675 bare root trees! Participants will work together with OCF AmeriCorps members to root-prune and transplant the trees into containers for the coming growing season. Activities may also include scrubbing and sanitizing re-usable containers , mixing potting soil for different tree water needs, or staking and tying trees.
