Event Details

Starting plants from seed is easy and fun! It allows you to grow many new and interesting varieties and can save you money. In this hands-on workshop, given by Master Gardener Elizabeth Evans, you will learn when to start seeds indoors so they will be ready to transplant outdoors at the right time. Participants will be able to plant their own six-pack to take home and grow for their own garden!

Cost: Free

Participants should wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing and a hat, as the class is held outdoors. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and sign in. Please note: the park charges $6.00 for parking, or park closer to our area on Chynoweth Avenue near Vauxhall Circle for free.
