Now is the time to plant bare root trees, so come to this talk and learn all about how to select and plant a tree, that will flourish and bear fruit here in Santa Clara County. Master Gardener Kalpana Jain has been successfully raising over 20 kinds of fruit trees in her back yard for many years. She will fill you in on chill hours, pollination, root stock and all the things you need to know before you go to the nursery or order a tree online. She will also cover how to plant and care for the tree once you bring it home. Bring your questions.
