Come help us prune fragrant shrubs in our drought-tolerant garden. Make a dried flower arrangement afterwards!
About this event
We are excited to invite you to dried flower arrangement workshop! The morning will start with a tour of the drought-tolerant garden where volunteers will learn about different aromatic shrubs and how to prune them. Afterwards, volunteers can use the flowers to make an arrangement or potpourri. Take some home to have your room smell like heavenly sage for a week!
What to bring: Garden gloves, closed-toe shoes, long pants, water
Parking: Free parking is located on Chynoweth Avenue, right outside of our Urban Forestry Education Center
Meeting location: We will meet under the large shade structure
COVID- 19 Protocols: You should not attend the event if you are feeling ill or are showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
***All first time attendees must submit a Participant Waiver & Release form
Participants18 and older must submit a Participant Waiver and Release Form.
Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian complete the Participant Waiver and Release Form.
Participants under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to attend.
