Martial Cottle Park is Celebrating Native Plant and Pollinator Day on Saturday June 24th, and the Master Gardeners will have several activities on that theme at the Master Gardener parcel, including this talk.
Come join us for a Walk & Talk through our entrance gardens to see UC recommended low water bee plants! We'll talk about what you can do at home to make a bee friendly garden. You will learn how to make bee houses for both solitary and social bees, which you can include in your bee garden! We'll answer your Native Plant and Pollinator questions after the talk!
Presenter: UC Master Gardener Ann Finney
Registration: None
Cost: Free
Note - the park charges $6.00 for Parking.
It’s recommended that visitors wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing and a hat, as the talk is held outside in our Entrance Gardens in the Master Gardener Demonstration Garden.
