Starting plants from seed is easy and fun, allows you to grow many interesting varieties, and can save you money! In this hands-on workshop given by Master Gardener Elizabeth Evans, you will learn when to start seeds indoors so they will be ready to transplant outdoors at the right time. Participants will plant a six-pack with seeds to take home and grow in their garden!

Participants should wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing and a hat, as the class is held outside in our Pavilion. A refillable water bottle, notebook and writing implements are handy. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and sign in. Please note: the park charges $6.00 for parking, or park closer to our parcel on Chynoweth Avenue near Vauxhall Circle for free.
