Location
Our City Forest Nursery and Training Center 1000 Spring St San Jose, CA 95110
Date and time
Sat, January 14, 2023, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM PST
The day will start off with a tour of our Community Nursery. Afterwards, spend the day in our Native Garden making Seed Bombs! This workshop will focus on California natives, including: Clarkia, Lupine, Salvia apiana, Dot Seed, and more!
Please note this workshop will NOT count towards volunteer service hours. The workshop will be set up as a craft table from 9am-11am and attendees can stop by open house style.
We recommend bringing empty egg-cartons to transport your seed bombs home (They will be damp and need to dry)
No experience necessary, just a willingness to work with others while enjoying the outside! Great opportunity to gain hands-on nursery and landscape experience while supporting a good cause!
This event is all ages, for other possible events check out our eventbrite page!
