Details: The word Raptor is used to describe a group of birds, also known as "birds of prey". The presence of raptors serves as a barometer of ecological health; threats like pesticides, habitat loss, and climate change have an impact on them and helps us detect environmental change. They also play an important role in controlling populations of rodents and other small mammals.
