Details: Want to add water-wise Springtime color to your yard with a minimum of fuss? Planting California Natives from seed is easy and provides pollen and nectar that our local pollinators thrive on! Come join Master Gardener Allie Judy and learn about collecting and germinating native plant seeds, the advantages and disadvantages of growing Native Plants, which are the simplest plants to start from seed, and growing California Native Perennials from seed.

Participants should wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing and a hat, as the class is held outside in our Pavilion. A refillable water bottle, notebook and writing implements are recommended. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and sign in.
Please note: the park charges $6.00 for parking, or park closer to our area on Chynoweth Avenue near Vauxhall Circle for free.
