Gardening year-round is easy and rewarding in the mild Mediterranean climate of Santa Clara County. Learn how to grow a successful, environmentally responsible food garden that provides delicious vegetables every month of the year. This free online course takes you through the basics needed for a successful vegetable garden, from planning and soil preparation through caring for your vegetables and dealing with potential pests.

The course consists of eight Zoom sessions, held Monday evenings from 7–8:30 pm, starting February 22. Every class builds on the previous ones, so join us each week and participate in the activities to get the most out of the course.

Register once to participate in all eight classes. There is no fee. This course is aimed at residents of Santa Clara County, California.
