ONLINE Part 1 of 3 - Less Work- More Food: Making a Productive Cool Season Vegetable Garden

Growing food year round is easy in our part of California. Salad and cooking greens, root vegetables, and the magnificent broccoli family grow best in our mild winter, with rain for irrigation, and fewer weeds and pests. This three-part series will teach you how to get a quick start and a long harvest of a wide variety of cool season vegetables. Pre-registration is required. Please register separately for all three parts. Part 1 of 3: Vegetables you can grow in the cool season; starting your own seedlings or finding healthy ones, or planting from seed; when to plant; and how to find space for new plants when summer veggies might still be producing.
