This workshop focuses on sustainable gardening practices. Topics include: cover crops, mulching for water conservation, growing “compost crops", crop selection for flowers and crops that attract pollinators and other beneficial insects, soil regeneration/management.  Learn how to reduce the need for purchased garden soils, planting mixes and fertilizers. Organic pest management will also be discussed.  Mini Hands on: seedling transplanting.
