Cover crops are planted in the fall to improve soil fertility and quality, control diseases and pests, manage soil erosion, suppress weeds, and promote biodiversity. Seeds were planted in October and are ready to be tilled into the soil. Come help and see how fun it is to chop the crop and dig in the dirt. This is a free, family-friendly event.
